Afternoon tea @ JAM, Liverpool

Afternoon tea. One of my favourite ways to spend my time! I mean, who doesn't love endless amounts of tea and nice food? It was only right I went for my birthday but I had no idea where to go.

I was staying overnight in Liverpool so I wanted to try somewhere new that I'd never been before. After some research, I found this little gem; JAM.

Decorated with white leather booths and purple accessories, including flowers, hanging pom poms, LED lights and a beautiful flower wall - the interior was right up my street.

The food was just lovely - I loved the simplistic presentation of everything.

Afternoon tea included:

Two freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam.

A selection of sweet treats:
- Strawberry yoghurt topped with a fresh strawberry
- Chocolate brownie
- Chocolate eclair
- Lemon drizzle cake

I'll be honest, when it comes to sweet treats I love allll things chocolatey. I've never had a strawberry yoghurt for afternoon tea but it was actually really refreshing.

The lemon drizzle cake was amazing too. I could have eaten this all day!

A selection of sandwiches:
- Cheese & Pickle
- Tuna
- Ham
- Egg Mayonnaise

Although the menu was quite simple, all of the sandwiches were delicious. My favourite was the cheese and pickle! Sometimes simple is best and this is a prime example.

Please note that the menu may vary.

I absolutely loved JAM and I will definitely be returning in the future. If you're looking for afternoon tea, lunch or even cocktails in Liverpool, I would definitely recommend here.
