Last Friday I had the pleasure of attending the lovely Mickey Taylor's 25th birthday bash, #HouseOfMouse, held at an exclusive location in On Bar (Canal Street, Manchester).

Hosted by Jsky, the night was filled with music, fun (and lots of drinks).

There were a handful of lovely goody bags as a personal thank you from Mickey for attending.

These included:
T-shirts from Ette Apparel;
Underwear from Marco Marco;
Underwear from Andrew Christian;
Limited edition scrub from The Coffee Scrub Co;
Complimentary ticket to the JSky launch of 'Myself';
Cosmetics from Ava J; and
Cologne from James Clarke.

There were a number of live performances throughout the evening. First up was Adam O'Shea.

His raw and emotion-filled cover of Lana Del Ray's 'Young & Beautiful' was definitely a fabulous start to the night. The tone of his voice was just something else!

Next up, the amazing Jsky himself performing his new single 'Myself'.

After a short break the performances were back, led by Simply Alex. Dressed in a Swarovski crystal bra, he was set to steal the show.

Simply Alex performed a number of songs, after the audience begged for an encore. These songs included 'Purple Rain' by Prince and 'Love on the Brain' by Rihanna. His range is just insane - I loved each and every performance but Purple Rain was a definite winner for me. Keep your eyes peeled for this guy as he's set to tour with Mickey this year!

What would Mickey's birthday be without an amazing performance from yours truly?

After an exciting announcement regarding his new single launch, his amazing performances included his hit single 'In the Night' and a cover of Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling In Love'.

There were also a number of other performances, including:
 a duet between Mickey and Simply Alex with their version of 'Stay' by Rihanna;
Vivienne Lynsey; and
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon's daughter, Gigi.

Gigi closed the show with her cover of Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' which was the perfect end to the evening. Her voice was so strong and for only 16 years of age, she was so confident performing in front of a large crowd!

Overall, it was a fabulous night. Thanks to Mickey for letting me be a part of his birthday celebrations!

 I hope you had just as much fun as I did celebrating.
